Both Danny Weidler and Michael Chammas on Triple M NRL’s The Journos expressed their huge concerns over both PNG and Perth Bears ahead of their inclusion into the game’s competition.
But have the NRL bitten off more than can chew?
“It’s purely political!” exclaimed Weidler.
“It doesn’t sit well with people.
“I get mixed reports about infrastructure there.
“It doesn’t feel like it’s going to happen on time.”
Whilst Chammas added, “it is looking bad for PNG and Perth to be far, they are not on time.”
“The NRL wants control on everything and that’s causing massive tension at the moment.
“Andrew Webster wrote on the weekend in The Australian about Mal Meninga potentially looking at walking away because of all the boxes you have to tick with the NRL.
“The NRL wanting a say in everything.”
The duo stated many worries they have on the latest podcast and went into a lot of depth on the current problems!
