Triple M Footy’s Jay Clark joined the Marty Sheargold Show to wrap up the late drama from the AFL’s trade deadline day, revealing the big winners from the period.
“When you look at the Bombers, they got Gresham, McKay, Goldstein all for free. Duursma cost them not much either,” Clark told Triple M Breakfast.
“I think the Bombers have got to be playing finals next year.”
Jay named Collingwood and Sydney as the other winners, with both sides strengthening their list by adding top-end talent.
Port Adelaide recruited defenders Esava Ratugolea and Brandon Zerk-Thatcher at the deadline, helping fill an area of need.
Clark put forward both Melbourne and St Kilda as the big underperformers across trade week.
