Lachlan Ilias is the first casualty of Souths horror 0-2 start to their 2024 campaign, with Jason Demetriou deciding to drop the young halfback to NSW Cup.
James Graham thought the decision was harsh on Ilias, and pointed out that the halfback position wasn’t the only concern for the Bunnies.
“The decision to drop Lachlan Ilias, it seems harsh…it seems unfair.” said Graham
“Souths issues are defensive and there’s some issues through the middle of the field and then I think further out wide.”
“So for me points isn’t their issue – 24 against Manly and 18 against Brisbane.”
“If you’re going to beat Brisbane at home and you score 18, that should be enough.”
