“I Gave Him £200 And Said ‘Do Not Lose That Bus'”: Haddin’s Incredible Ashes Escape

If there’s one thing Brad Haddin hates more than poor wicketkeeping technique, it’s being late.

The former Aussie gloveman was late to a recording of the Willow Talk podcast this week, triggering memories of the only other time he’s been late (so he says) and with it sharing a hilarious story from the 2005 Ashes.

HEAR BRAD HADDIN SHARE THE STORY ABOUT HOW HE ESCAPED PUNISHMENT AFTER A BIG NIGHT ON THE 2005 ASHES TOUR:

“One drink turned into two,” Haddin tells Willow Talk.

“Two turned into three. Three turned into vodka Red Bulls.”

Willow Talk will be covering EVERY day’s play during the 2023 Ashes! Join Brad Haddin and Adam Peacock as they lead the way. Download the free LiSTNR app and tune in every day.
