Bradman Best has bolted into the NSW Blues team for Origin III in Sydney next week, and he didn’t waste any time declaring his hatred for Queensland.
Best openly declared he “hates” Queensland yesterday, and while Origin legend Gordon Tallis says Best’s comments were fine, he says the Knights centre is lucky to be in sky blue.
Best scored a hat-trick for Newcastle on Sunday to catapult him into the Blues starting side for Origin III, wasting no time expressing his disdain for his northern rivals.
“I hate them,”Best said on Tuesday. “I just hate them.
“You go to school and you just want to have a punch on with the boys that go for Queensland.
“I hated Queensland, still do.”
