Wendell Sailor explained on The Rush Hour with Gus, Jude & Wendell how keen he is to see Penrith Panthers superstar Dylan Edwards to debut for Australia.
LISTEN HERE:
A late call up after Josh Addo-Carr was ruled out through suspension, Edwards is expected to line-up on the wing against Toa Samoa.
“I’m pretty happen for this to happen,” said Sailor.
“Dylan Edwards I think played a fair bit of wing when he got into first grade.
“He’s played centre, he can be a utility.
“More importantly I’m just glad to see him get an opportunity to debut for the Kangaroos.
“In the last couple years he’s been one of the most influential players in the competition.”
