Triple M’s and leading NRL commentator Dan Ginnane has blasted the decision to allow Eels players to front up to the media after Dylan Brown was charged with sexual touching offences.

Brown, 22, was charged with five counts of sexual touching without consent following an alleged incident at a Double Bay Hotel on Saturday.
The Eels playmaker has since been stood down under the NRL’s no-fault stand-down policy.
However, Ginnane said he couldn’t understand why Clint Gutherson and Shaun Lane were left to be questioned by the media over the alleged incident.
“It is not a good look to have players who are not best equipped to answer these questions in the right manner,” Ginnane said on Triple M’s NRL Coverage.
“We bag clubs when a coach gets sacked and we make the players do media.”
