Australian cricket legend Ricky Ponting reacted to David Warner’s offer to come out of retirement for the Test summer on the Rush Hour with Bernie, Blewey & Jars last night.
“He must have had a couple of glasses of wine, Davey, leading up to that,” Punter laughed.
“I actually couldn’t believe it. I thought it was fake news when I was reading it the other day!”
Punter also spoke about who he thinks should open the batting for Australia in the series against India, whether he can give Blewey a job, his kids’ sporting prowess and more.
