Jay Clark and current Gold Coast interim coach Steven King can have a chuckle about this now.

Back in Jay’s Geelong Advertiser days – and back in King’s playing days at the Cats – the two, one Sunday night, were at the same nightclub.

Jay with a couple of mates, King with a bunch of Geelong players.
