“There Are Some Areas I’d Be Pointing My Finger”: Nick Riewoldt Unpacks The Christian Petracca Story

Nick Riewoldt says there’s one thing he wants to hear particularly from Christian Petracca amid reports of his unrest at Melbourne.

It was reported on Monday night that Petracca is unhappy at Melbourne and – if he were out of contract – would seek a trade.

The Dees clarified on Tuesday that Petracca is a “key pillar” at the Demons and would at least see out his remaining contract until 2029.

“Christian is an integral and much-loved member of the Melbourne Football Club. He is a key pillar of our club’s future, and we value him immensely, not only as a player, but as a person and a leader,” the club said.

But Roo believes there’s more to unpack.

“I found it weird, to be honest…unhappy with what?”
