Tex Walker gave an update on Adelaide’s pre-season injuries on Roo, Ditts & Loz for Breakfast this morning.
Tex gave updates on Darcy Forgarty’s sore quad and Rory Sloane’s gruesome eye injury.
“He done his first little run around today,” Tex said of Sloane, who recently had surgery on a detached retina.
“It just takes a bit of time for the gas bubble in his eye to diminish.”
MORE ON ADELAIDE’S PRE-SEASON:
Tex also told Roo, Ditts & Loz about the Crows’ Irish recruit who is looking sharp in pre-season.
“Karl Gallagher, he was awesome in our three quarters, or three thirds of match sim on Friday,” he said.
“Played half back, seemed to be wherever the ball was, so he’s picking the game up quite well.”
He was less going about the other Irishaman who came in the off-season — but not about his footy.
“Keaney (Mark Keane, ex-Collingwood defender) is going quite well, but he’s just a pest,” Tex said.
“He got stitched up yesterday, but he always rings me and blames me for it.
“He found some Fenalgin (similar to Deep Heat) on the inside of his panties… he was running around….I don’t have time for that stuff anymore!”

Tex also spoke about which teammates he went to Blink 182 with, the upcoming pre-season camp in Port Lincoln, his son’s hilarious behaviour at the basketball and more.
