Steven May Reveals Just How Bad His Hamstring Injury Was In The 2021 Grand Final

One of the biggest stories leading up to the 2021 grand final between Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs was Steven May’s injured hamstring.

And he told Daisy Thomas on Thursday’s episode of Footy Talk just how bad the tear was going into the game.

“I didn’t know until after the game,” he laughed.

“They wanted to scan it, I said ‘I’m playing, if I get up and training I’ll playing.’ They said how about we get the scan and we won’t tell you the result…”
