“It’s Going To Be Ugly”: Nick Riewoldt Explains The “Divide” Coming This AFL Season

Nick Riewoldt has a message for the teams striving for a spot in the top eight this upcoming season: there’s a good chance it’s going to get ugly.

Riewoldt joined Joey Montagna on their first episode of Footy Talk for the year, where Joey asked him to lay out his predictions and expectations for the year ahead.

He said it wasn’t necessarily going to be pretty for the teams eager to catch up to the top eight.

“By halfway through the year, I think we’re going to have a really solid idea of what the ladder’s going to look like,” he said on Tuesday.

“Look out if you’re one of those bottom eight clubs. I think it’s going to be ugly.”
