“I Think Melbourne Owe It To Him”: Grundy To Be No.1 Ruck Elsewhere In 2024

Triple M Footy’s Midweek Rub discussed the likelihood of Brodie Grundy remaining at Melbourne in 2024.

Damian Barrett & Leigh Montagna don’t think there is any chance he remains at Melbourne next season after being left out of the senior side on multiple occasions.

“Wherever he goes next year he’ll be playing No.1 ruck, you can take that to the bank,” Montagna said.

“It won’t be Melbourne. 100%”

IS GRUNDY GONE:

“And I think it’s fair. I think Melbourne owe it to him.”

“That’s okay, they tried something – it didn’t work.

“I think we’re mature enough to say look ‘we’ll help you get to your next destination’.

Montagna believes Sydney are the likely suitors for Grundy’s services.
