Nick Riewoldt has paid tribute to Jock Zonfrillo, remembering him as “the most kind, generous, charismatic man”.
Zonfrillo passed away aged 46 in his home on Monday morning, in news that rocked both the culinary and the entertainment industries.
Riewoldt, who won 2021’s Celebrity MasterChef, two years after Zonfrillo began hosting the show, said on Tuesday’s Footy Talk it was “devastating news”.
“(It was) devastating news to wake up to this morning,” he said.
“(He was) just the most kind, generous, charismatic man who was, in the world of showbiz, was just a real person and happy to have real conversations and reach out and help people in times of need.
