James Tedesco In Trouble | New Captain & New Fullback For The Kangaroos?

Aaron Woods on The Rush Hour highlighted that Australia Kangaroos coach Mal Meninga has found himself in the exact same position as NSW Blues head coach Michael Maguire.

What to do with James Tedesco?

LISTEN HERE:

Penrith Panthers, three-time premiership winning fullback was able to thwart the, at the time Blues captain Tedesco for the prized fullback jumper. Now Mal Meninga has the same conundrum on his hands.

Edwards excelled in the Origin arena, as he chases the title of the best fullback in the game which will be cemented with the number one, green and gold jersey.

If Meninga were to drop Tedesco, another question needs to be answered.

Who will be the new captain?

“The other thing is, Daly Cherry-Evans [Maroons’ skipper] was vice captain,” said Woodsy.

“There’ll be a new captain and vice captain for Australia.

“Nathan Cleary’s back. I think DCE will be in the squad but not in the starting side.”
