Shane Flanagan’s tenure at Kogarah has gotten off to a dream start with a big upset win over the Titans.
The Dragons coach praised the hard work put in by his players after brutal preseason.
“We’ve learned to trust and believe in the systems that we’ve put in place, but also they’ve had to work really hard in the gym and on the training paddock.” said Flanagan.
“We need to be fitter, faster and stronger and we definitely they weren’t that last year.”
“We just just weren’t in shape and we didn’t have enough leg speed, to be honest we were a bit fat so we had to change their body composition.”
“It’s enabled us to play the way we need to play.”
