Uncle Nick’s Zero Coke Policy

After a turbulent year of off field indiscretions in the NRL, Sydney Roosters chairman Nick Politis has supposedly enacted a zero tolerance policy for cocaine at Bondi.

“I spoke to Nick Politis and he said to me then we have zero tolerance and if any of our players are caught using cocaine it’ll be an instant dismissal.” said Buzz Rothfield on the Footy Talk League podcast.

Buzz wasn’t entirely convinced that Politis would pull the trigger and sack one of his star players if that scenario played out.

“I sort of had a bit of a crack at him and I said Nick, if it’s one of your million dollar players and they make one mistake I bet you won’t cut them – and he said we will.”
