Queensland Club Sets Sights On Signing Daly Cherry-Evans

Despite captaining both the Manly Sea Eagles and the Maroons, and dedicating 15 years to the club, Daly Cherry-Evans shocked the rugby league world yesterday by announcing he’s leaving Manly at the end of the year – after the club failed to offer him a new contract in time.

Triple M’s Ben ‘Dobbo’ Dobbin told Triple M Breakfast with Marto, Margaux & Dan that Manly “dropped the ball” and confirmed Daly Cherry-Evans won’t be at the club in 2026, with one Queensland team actively pursuing his signature:
