Another week, another baffling bunker call…
Aaron Woods agreed with the call, arguing that Dylan Edwards was denied the chance to make a play at Joey Manu.
“It was an obstruction boys, he was denied an opportunity to make the tackle.” said Woods
“Dylan Edwards knew straight away, he went straight to the referee and blew up about it.”
“He was obstructed, he would have had a clear shot and he didn’t get the opportunity.”
James Graham reluctantly agreed with the big Manly forward.
“I know Dylan Edwards isn’t going to get there, but still it doesn’t matter about the outcome or the potential outcomes.”
Brent Read was confused by Graham Annesley’s statement that the decision was incorrect, despite similar calls in previous weeks.
“How can you then say this one last night should have been a Try because you don’t think Dylan Edwards would have got there?”
“I thought now that it’s black and white, if you’re obstructed it’s no try.”
But now you’re saying with this decision you’re saying it was wrong, you’re saying there is discretion?”
“I thought we got rid of discretion?”
