The Benji era is truly underway at the Tigers and there were certainly encouraging signs that the club is on the right path after last nights impressive 32-6 victory over the Sharks.
James Graham was impressed with the Tigers ability to battle back into the contest after surrendering the lead early, which is the kind of resolve that has been absent from the team in recent years.
“You know when Hazelton scored, I think in years gone by you know you’ve seen the Tigers start to crumble.” said Graham
“I think you’ve got to give them credit for this turnaround in attitude.”
“Benji spoke about play to the gameplan for 80 minutes but then you know when you’re on the field and then you’re behind your posts and Hazelton goes under the sticks, you can start to look around and panic.”
“So I think that the signs of the growth of the Tigers is in the fact that they were six points behind and they fought their way back into a comprehensive victory.”
