The Eels were embarrassed in up in Darwin by the Dolphins, getting routed 44-16 in one of the worst second half performances in recent memory.
Ryan Girdler was astonished on Triple M’s Saturday Scrum at just how easily the Eels fell away in the second half.
“Take nothing away from the Dolphins performance in the second half they were great, but how the Eels feel away in the second half I don’t think I’ve ever seen a performance quite like it.” said Girdler
“The amount of guys that were just left laying on the ground after contact, their inability on contact to actually like win that part of the collision was just incredible.”
“The Dolphins were just having a field day.”
