How The Wests Tigers Can Take Advantage Of Stefano Utoikamanu Exit Clause

Michael Chammas gave his thoughts on Stefano Utoikamanu seeming likelier that he’ll activate his get-out clause to leave the struggling Wests Tigers on Footy Talk Journos Show.

LISTEN HERE:

“The transfer deadline ends in June,” started Chammas.

“The reality is, they know they’re long odds to keep Stefano.”

“There is no benefit in Stefano being a free agent, they get nothing in return, he just walks.”

Chammas believes the Tigers can make the most of a worsening situation by looking to shop he around now.

“Go knock on the Roosters door, says, what’s going on with Siua Wong?

“What’s going on with Sitili Tupouniua?

“Go knock on Newcastle’s door, what’s happening with Saifiti?

“Go knock on Canterbury’s door, what’s happening with Addo-Carr?

“Leverage the situation for something in return because once June 30 expires, he’s out the door and you get nothing back.”
