Souths and their embattled coach Jason Demetriou are back in the headlines after another embarrassing defeat at home to the New Zealand Warriors.
Mitchell Pearce finds the whole situation a mess, and thought it was strange that the leadership group at the club hasn’t backed their coach.
“I’d just love to know what actually happened, like everyone’s turned on the coach by the look on it.” said Pearce.
“And then Latrell, from his body language there’s seriously something going on.”
“It’s weird, none of their leaders have come out and supported the coach or supported Latrell publicly.”
“That’s what’s a bit awkward from an outlooker watching it, it’s a bit strange.”
