“Not Being Typical Of A 30-Year Old Brain” Dale Finucane On His Medical Retirement

Former NRL star Dale Finucane joined Woodsy’s Club Tour on Footy Talk League and opened up on being forced to medically retire earlier this season due to repeated concussions.

Finucane explains in detail in the podcast above about the procedures, having input from his wife and then accepting that it was time to draw the curtains.

“I had concussions where the neurologist sort of spoke about it,” said Finucane.

“Not being typical of a 30-odd year old brain.

“There was just some instances there that they weren’t too flash on.”
