Bulldogs Baulked At Hunt’s 800K Asking Price

Ben Hunt’s asking price was the biggest reason the Bulldogs elected to not pursue the the Maroons and Kangaroos rep.

“The messages that from what I understand that Ben Hunt was relaying to the Bulldogs was it wasn’t about money, it was about premierships.” said Michael Chammas on Footy Talk League

“I think the day later or two days later, the manager came back to the Bulldogs and said if you want to pursue this we are expecting around $800,000 a season.”
