“Both Those Guys, Best Case Scenario Miss The First Two Games” | Cleary & Turbo Injuries Create Origin Headache

The Blues have been rocked by the news that Nathan Cleary and Tom Trbojevic will likely miss this years Origin series, with both stars facing extended stints on the sidelines.

Michael Chammas revealed that both stars are facing similar timetables for a return to the field.

“It doesn’t look good for Nathan from what I gather they fear it could be Origin series over for Nathan.” said Chammas

“We’re looking maybe 6 to 8 weeks, it’s a re aggravation of the hamstring injury that he had earlier in the year.”

It’s a similar predicament for Tommy Turbo after yet another hamstring injury.

“I think they announced seven weeks, six to eight weeks for Tom Trbojevic.”

“So you’d imagine both those guys, best case scenario they miss the first two games of the series.”
