Almond Breeze, a popular almond milk brand, has stunned consumers with its announcement of exiting the Australian market. 

The move will see its products vanish from the shelves of major supermarkets, including Woolworths, Coles, and other national retailers.

Blue Diamond Growers, the supplier of Almond Breeze milk products, revealed that the range is no longer deemed competitive or profitable in the Australian market.

“Blue Diamond Growers appreciates and values our customer and business relationships in Australia and New Zealand, however (it) has come to a crossroads where the product offerings are no longer competitive or profitable,” said in the notice.

In the notice, Blue Diamond Growers expressed gratitude for the customer and business relationships in Australia and New Zealand.

“While we regret any inconvenience this announcement may cause, we are eager to focus our attention on other territories where Almond Breeze remains the No.1 almond beverage with a dedicated consumer base.”

Woolworths and Coles have acknowledged the impending exit of Almond Breeze from the market and will continue to sell the products until existing stocks are depleted.

The discontinuation of Almond Breeze milk products in Australia and New Zealand encompasses various products, including the original, unsweetened, chocolate, vanilla unsweetened, barista blend, home barista blend, and extra creamy options.
