Police have charged three teenagers following an alleged break and enter and car theft in Burleigh Heads on Monday morning, October 28.
It will be alleged a Jaguar SVR SUV was stolen from a Helensvale residence on Amazon Circuit at around 9am.

Queensland police wrote in a statement they monitored the vehicle until it stopped at Burleigh Heads. All three offenders were taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.
“It will be further alleged, three male juveniles armed with knives were confronted by police as they exited the vehicle, and all three fled the scene on foot,” police wrote.
A 16-year-old Coomera boy was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
A 15-year-old Southport boy was charged with two counts of enter dwelling and commit, and one count each of entering premises with intent, receiving tainted property, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, fraud (dishonestly make off without paying), driving without a licence, and obstructing a police officer.
A 15-year-old Riverview boy has been charged with two counts of enter dwelling and commit, and one count each of entering premises with intent, receiving tainted property, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, fraud (dishonestly make off without paying), and obstructing a police officer.
All three are expected to appear in Southport Children’s Court on October 29th.
