Police have charged a teenager following the alleged stabbing of a 16-year-old boy on NSW’s north coast.
A 17-year-old has been charged with murder after he allegedly stabbed a 16-year-old boy on a beach near Coffs Harbour.
Police attended the scene on Pacific Street at Corindi Beach at around 5:40PM on Sunday afternoon where they found a 16-year-old suffering from stab wounds to the thigh.

The police attending the scene attempted to provide the boy with first aid before paramedics arrived.
Despite being rushed to Coffs Harbour Health Campus, the boy later passed away from his injuries.
A search has been established in the areas surrounding the beach for the alleged weapon.
Police charged a 17-year-old boy with possessing a prohibited drug, assault causing death and murder.
Authorities are investigating whether the teen’s death is in relation to a love triangle.
