Pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL champion Travis Kelce have announced their engagement.
The couple revealed the news in a joint Instagram post, writing: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” alongside photos of Kelce proposing.
The post received more than 10 million likes within an hour, as fans and celebrities rushed to congratulate them.

The NFL also shared its congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, calling the announcement “a win off the field”.
Swift, 35, and Kelce, also 35, began dating in 2023 after Kelce publicly expressed interest in the singer on his podcast.
Their relationship has since been played out in front of millions, from Swift cheering at Chiefs games to Kelce attending her Eras Tour shows around the globe.
The engagement news comes as Swift prepares to release her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, in October.
Details of the proposal, including where and when it took place, remain unclear.
However, Swift offered fans a glimpse of her diamond ring in the announcement post.
