Police are set to investigate the alleged attack on Cats player Jeremy Cameron at a pub in Geelong.
Cameron was believed to have been watching a cricket match at the Geelong pub last weekend when he was allegedly headbutted by another patron.
The alleged attack followed the Cat’s loss to Fremantle on Saturday.
According to the Herald Sun, Cameron entered into what appeared to be an amicable conversation with the patron before he was allegedly headbutted.
Police are believed to have arrived at the venue a short time later and the man was removed from the premises.
Cameron has since been cleared by the AFL of any wrongdoing with both police and the AFL investigating the incident.
