The man accused of murdering Tasmanian teenager Shyanne-Lee Tatnell appears in court today, facing more charges.
The 14-year-old went missing in April in Launceston. She was on the way to visit a friend but never arrived.
The search operation involved 180 personnel, and her remains were found last month near a bush track in the northeast state.
Police arrested a Scottdale man Christopher Mark Jordan the next day, and he made his second court appearance today.
The 36-year-old appeared via video link in Launceston Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
Mr Jordan did not enter a plea to the murder charge and was remanded in custody to next appear in court in late November.
It was revealed Mr Jordan also faces charges of failing to comply with ammunition storage requirements, possessing a cannabis plant and possessing a prohibited import.
Police allege he failed to adequately store four 12-gauge shells and 58.223 calibre rounds.

Mr Jordan has yet to enter a plea to the offences.
