King Charles has been diagnosed with a form of cancer and will step back from public duties.
Buckingham Palace shared the news early Tuesday morning, 5am AEDT. It said the cancer was not prostate cancer but was discovered during his recent treatment for an enlarged prostate.
The King, 75, has started treatment as an outpatient. He will will continue with his constitutional role as head of state, including paperwork and private meetings. Senior Royals are expected to step in for his public duties.
