Hundreds of Australians are currently stranded in Vanuatu after multiple flights were cancelled or rescheduled.
Since Friday, 26 Air Vanuatu Flights to Australia and New Zealand has been cancelled or rescheduled, many done last minute leaving passengers with very little details.

“Air Vanuatu wishes to inform guests that due to an ongoing engineering requirement on our aircraft a number of our services are being impacted over the coming days. We ask guests continue to check this page for flight updates,” the airline said in a statement.
At the time of publishing, flights to Brisbane and Sydney on Monday, September 25 had already been cancelled or rescheduled.
While some rescheduled flights begin to leave Vanuatu on Monday, flights originally for Monday have been pushed back to as late of Monday, October 2.
The airline advised affected customers not to travel to the airport if their flight was rescheduled. It has also promised to get in touch with passengers to confirm new flight details.
Air Vanuatu provided information for customers affected wishing to change their flights or request a refund.
“For those guests wishing to cancel their bookings please contact your Travel Agent to request a full refund. For those guests who have booked through airvanautu.com or via an Air Vanuatu office please send your request to reservation@airvanuatu.vu”
