I spoke with families of people murdered that day, infiltrated far-right extremist networks online, and retraced his movements across Europe.
What I found was the terrorist’s trajectory to radicalisation didn’t start until after he left his hometown in Grafton, Australia.

And that threat of far-right extremism hasn’t gone away. It’s only gotten worse.
