A father of three lost his life when a black car pulled up at the Walnut Crescent address in Lowood around 1 am on Tuesday near Ipswich, west of Brisbane.
A single shot allegedly fired from the car struck and killed the 35-year-old man.
Ipswich detectives launched a homicide investigation, resulting in the overnight charging of a 24-year-old woman with murder.
Additionally, a 19-year-old Mount Beppo man has been charged with murder and appeared in Ipswich Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The 24-year-old woman is expected to appear in court today.
Detective Inspector Wayne Francis assured the public that there is no ongoing threat to safety.
He revealed that the police had recovered the vehicle involved in the incident, along with the firearm.
All three individuals, including the victim, were associates, and authorities believe this was a targeted and planned attack.
“We believe we’ve recovered the vehicle using those offences, as well as the firearm,” Mr Fracis said.

A crime scene has been established at Lowood, and police are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the vicinity of Walnut Crescent between midnight and 2 am on January 2 to come forward.
