Brisbane Commuters Warned Of Delays Amid Union March In CBD

People travelling through Brisbane are being warned of major delays due to an ongoing union strike in the city. 

Workers from the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union are participating in three separate marches across Brisbane’s CBD.

The marchers are believed to be marching towards the Labor party’s national conference at the Brisbane Convention Centre.

Commuters in Brisbane have been warned of significant delays at Southbank and Victoria Bridge on Thursday morning.

The union members are demanding the government make moves towards remedying the current housing crisis. 

Protests will also be held across the CBD with environmentalists protesting for more action to stop climate change.
