Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda has opened up in the Behind The Hits: Linkin Park Meteora 20 Podcast, about hearing unreleased songs featuring the late Chester Bennington.
Chester took his life in 2017 – Linkin Park have yet to tour or record new music without him.
However for the 20th anniversary of their iconic album Meteora a new reissue features multiple rarities.
There are three finished tracks – which almost made the original album – featuring Chester’s vocals.
They are Lost, Fighting Myself and More the Victim, which feature on the ‘Lost Demos’ album on Meteora 20.
Mike said uncovering the tracks was bittersweet, but the perfect way to honour his bandmate.
“It’s such a good reminder of how f***ing good he is, like the vocals on some of these tracks you’re just like ‘Damn dude’.”
