Metallica’s M72 World Tour Set to Rock Australia in 2025

The wait is finally over for Aussie Metallica fans, as the iconic band has confirmed that its record-breaking M72 World Tour will be hitting Australia and New Zealand in November of 2025.

Metallica’s 2025 tour will span across six cities, including:

Perth, WA – Optus Stadium – November 1 2025
Adelaide, SA – Adelaide Oval – November 5
Melbourne, VIC – Marvel Stadium – November 8
Brisbane, QLD – Suncorp Stadium – November 12
Sydney, NSW – Accor Stadium – November 15
Auckland, NZ – Eden Park – November 19

Unforgettable Concert Experience

The M72 World Tour is known for its immersive, high-energy performances, and the Australian and New Zealand shows will be no exception. These dates will feature Metallica performing at the end of each stadium and will include the infamous Snake Pit extending from the front of the stage, providing fans a unique vantage point of the action.

Presale and General Ticket Information

General ticket s for all shows will go on sale Monday, November 4th at 12 PM local time. However, if you’re eager to secure your spot before the general public, here’s what you need to know:

Fan Club Presales

Legacy Fanclub Presale: October 29 from 9 AM to October 30 at 9 AM (local time)
Fifth Member Fanclub Presale: October 29 from 11 AM to October 30 at 9 AM (local time)

Vodafone Presales

Vodafone customers will have early access through a special 48-hour presale starting on Wednesday, October 30 at the following times:

Perth & Melbourne: 11 AM
Adelaide & Brisbane: 1 PM

Mastercard Presales

Mastercard cardholders in Australia and New Zealand can take advantage of a presale running from Wednesday, October 30 until Friday, November 1. Preferred ticket access for some of the best seats will begin on Monday, November 4th.

Live Nation and stadium presales will begin on Friday, November 1st, offering another opportunity for fans to snag their tickets before the general release.

Giving Back Through the All Within My Hands Foundation

As with every leg of the M72 tour, Metallica is dedicated to giving back to the communities that support them. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will go towards local charities via the band’s All Within My Hands Foundation. Since its establishment in 2017, the foundation has raised over $22.5 million AUD, providing funding for career and technical education, disaster relief, and combating food insecurity.
