Using screens to entertain kids has long been the subject of debate, but how about with…babies?

Bec and Soda speak with Digital Wellbeing expert Dr Kristy Goodwin to understand how screen use impacts a young mind.

This Right or Wrong conversation comes after Bec saw a baby under the age of 1 in a pram being entertained by a screen.

Dr Goodwin brings light to this conversation by explaining what very young children can and cannot understand.

“We know particularly with young children that they can’t actually make meaning from a 2D screen,” Dr Goodwin said.

So perhaps what we think is entertaining, is really parents depriving children from interactions that helps them to grow…?
