Itās fair to say that weāve had an emotional day here at Mix94.5. Matt Dyktynski, the āMattā part of our breakfast show, Pete, Matt and Kymba, announced this morning that heās leaving us.
Thereās so many fantastic memories involved with this wonderful man, but itās onwards and upwards for our ātriple threatā (can sing, can act, and bloody, bloody funny).
Hereās what Matt had to say about his departure.
āI have loved every moment being a part of this Perth institution and I know Mix94.5 will just keep going from strength to strength.
āIāll be focusing on a musical that I have written with my wife, called āFuneral ā The Musicalā, which had its first public reading in August. Iām very excited to get this off the ground.
āI hope not to be a stranger to Perth radio in the future and can look back at the last eight years with tremendous gratitude to SCA for giving me the opportunity to join this very special radio station.
āAnd to the wonderful Mix94.5 listeners, I will miss you and want to say a humble thank you, for allowing me into your hearts and homes.ā
Weāre going to miss you Matt. So bloody much
