The round 3 AFL game between the Fremantle Dockers and the West Coast Eagles resembled a battle field post game in the Eagles change rooms, with Adrian Barich confirming that SEVEN Eagles players have serious injury concerns.
Barra agreed that maybe because it was a derby, everyone just went a bit too hard.
“That’s why they don’t have derbies in pre-season anymore, because everyone gets too wound up, and goes way too hard.”
Barra did suggest though that the Freo win could be a springboard now for their season, suggesting that the same thing happened last year and they went on to win five in a row.
“That could happen again.”
