In 2003, at the height of both of their music careers, rapper Nelly and country music singer Tim McGraw surprised everyone when they collaborated on the single Over And Over.
Today, country music blended with rap and pop dominate the charts but two decades ago, the crossover of genres was unheard of.
Nelly tells the story to Jimmy, Nath and Emma about how he defied his label by collaborating with country music superstar Tim McGraw.

“I was coming off of Nellyville and my label just cut me a big ass check,” Nelly explains.
“I said, I want to do a song with Tim McGraw and the label were like…what!?”
Little did the label know, their hit song would become one of the first songs to break boundaries with genres and spark what would become a staple in popular music.
