Fifi Box has launched her new podcast Fifi’s Inbox, where she dives into personal stories and answers questions from her fans. In the first episode, Fifi candidly discusses her journey through IVF, a topic that resonates deeply with many listeners.
Fifi’s decision to pursue IVF as a single mother was not taken lightly. She reflects on the emotional and physical challenges she faced as it came with its own set of complexities, especially as she navigated the process in the public eye.
“It was a big decision to make… I knew I wanted to have another child, and for me, the right path was to do that on my own.”
One of the most touching moments in the episode occurs when Fifi recounts an encounter with a fan: “A woman came up to me with her baby and started to cry… She said, ‘I wanted you to meet my son because it was only through knowing your story that I decided to embark on my IVF journey.’” This powerful exchange highlights how sharing her experience has inspired others to pursue their dreams of parenthood.
Fifi also shares the raw realities of IVF, including receiving a blunt call from an embryologist informing her that out of 30 eggs retrieved, only three embryos were created. “I knew my odds when I went out and I got 7% chance of this happening, I thought, okay, I’m going to make life easier for Trix. If she doesn’t get her sister that she wants, I’ll get her a puppy. So I went ahead and bought a puppy and then two months later fell pregnant.” she reveals, expressing the heartbreak and uncertainty that many in similar situations face.
The podcast aims to create a safe space for discussions around sensitive topics like IVF and motherhood. With producer Leon Sjogren guiding the conversation, listeners can expect heartfelt stories and insights that resonate deeply.
