“I was SO Nervous” – Tommy Little Reveals the First TV Show to Unnerve him in his 20 Year Career

Off the back of recording his first ever episode of ABC’s Spicks and Specks, Tommy Little revealed to Myf Warhurst that he was the most nervous he’s ever been in his 20-Year television career.

When recording the upcoming episode of the popular series, he came to discover Anthony Callea would be competing against Tommy in the opposing team. It wasn’t until Tommy heard the live audience respond gleefully to the Australian Idol alum’s performance, that his nerves kicked in:

“..You saw one man, staring off into the distance in sheer panic”

After Tommy’s reveal, Carrie Bickmore further interrogated if this indeed was the “most nervous he’s ever been on TV”, and without missing a beat, her co-host responded with “ABSOLUTELY”.

Carrie gave a bit of insight as to what we can expect from her co-host’s first appearance on Spicks and Specks, sharing that he was rehearsing all afternoon in studio prior to his appearance:

“We could not get Tommy’s attention all afternoon.. it was like a mad man talking to himself, in song”

No date has yet to be revealed on when Tommy Little’s episode will air, however, the much beloved series will be returning on ABC TV and via ABC iView from 7.30pm on Sunday, June 9, 2024, with Myf Warhurst having shared the news on her Instagram:
