Former NRL player Ben Hannant has been asked to help train the under 13’s for the local Gold Coast team Currumbin Eagles. Ben says the team is struggling at the moment and they are getting a “hiding” in most of their games.
Ben was down at training when he was asked to help out for only 30 minutes until the NRL legend Cam Smith fills in after him. Ben was a little unsure if Cam would turn up as he is at Origin Camp with the Queensland team at the moment, however to Ben’s surprise he did!
