Tomorrow’s the night, our Matildas Vs France in the quarter-finals of the FIFA Women’s World Cup at Suncorp Stadium. SeaFM’s Beth is joined by Matilda’s royalty Emily Gielnik who has represented the Matilda’s on 56 occasions and scored 11 international goals. Emily says “I’m pretty charged up for the upcoming game”. She is visualising the win however says playing France is “probably our toughest team to date that we’ve versed”.
“Definitely will be a tough one, do I think we are up for the challenge, absolutely!”
Emily talks about the pregame rituals of the girls, bad habits and addresses the statement she made regarding Sam Kerr being played in the last game.
