“I Was Too Fat And Too Slow, And I Could Have Listened To That And Got Nowhere With It” Ben Hannant Talks About His Childhood In Social Sport

Last week Libby Trickett joined SeaFM’s Bianca, Ben and Lakey talking about her latest project the Play On podcast. The podcast is about keeping kids in sports as there is a lot of pressure on them especially when it comes to weight management and their looks.

Ben says “my whole career I got told I’d never be good enough, I was too fat and I’m too slow” however he chose to ignore it.

The Gold Coast called in and give their opinion. Listen here:

Listen live to Bianca, Ben and Lakey from 6.00am weekdays on Gold Coast’s 90.9 SeaFM or Download the free LiSTNR app to grab the podcast now.
