Sarah Ferguson has shared a rare and intimate glimpse into her life as Duchess of York and her special bond with the late Queen Elizabeth II in the latest episode of The Jess Rowe Big Talk Show.
“She was more my mother than my own mother,” the Duchess confessed to host Jess Rowe. “The Queen was an iconic, legendary, stalwart, steadfast, invisible hand of love behind your back.”
Speaking about being unapologetically herself, the Duchess revealed, “I became a shadow of myself when I was 13-years-old, and I don’t think I have been in full harmony with myself until recently.”
